In today's climate, Diversity and Inclusion is such a "Hot Topic" It almost appears that it is a Trend to discuss, but we know that is hardly the case. With discrimination at an all time high and the FDA placing a focus on increasing diversity in clinical trials, it is time to move beyond the conference room and get into action.
But what does action truly look like? I mean that is the million dollar question at the end of the day. We can attend meetings, have strategic objectives and webinars, but the elephant in the room is still there. This is something that I have been thinking a lot about. I know that Rome was not built in a day and although each company that I have been in has a very unique way of looking at D&I and even a more unique structure, it all comes back to the same question.
So I will pause and just ask that question to you in this blog, just for kicks and to get the conversation started, what you do you think the number one issue is when it comes to increasing diversity in clinical trials?
